Snow conditions

Post by gills » Tue Jan 29, 2019 11:14 am

Just wondering what the conditions are like down at Shrewsbury after yesterday's snowfall? We got hit pretty good here in St.thomas and wondered whether walking out would be a challenge through snow or has it blown around down there. Also how is the ramp?
Any updates would be great!

Ramp is still kinda sketchy but you can walk around on the grass and down the one side.

Snow wasn't brutal I walked pretty far out with all my gear and we got a bit of rain towards the end of the snowfall which made it a but better I think.

I haven't been out since Sunday though but I would imagine it's walkable.

Yeah no problem.

With this deep freeze and the forecast for Friday I think im gonna bring the safari out and do some real travelling on the ice in search for the motherload - I'd like to find some nice holes and start making some good waypoints this season. Friday is gonna be beautiful!

Hoping to have the bay to myself basically! lol
