Service Ontario, Chatham Office

Post by Gwens Dilemma » Mon Aug 13, 2012 12:25 pm

I copied and pasted this from another forum. Guess they are showing us how much value we are,

"Well....I just returned from a trip to the Chatham Service Ontario office. While there, I found out that this office is closing at the end of August.....now what ? Now where do we go to TRY to get information from the MNR ??? I sat on hold at the "outdoors card" center for 40 min, my ear got sore and I gave up !!! What a crock....I have fired a not-so-nice letter off to our MPP's. Maybe everyone else should do the same....."

Just to add to the Service Ontario topic--it appears that the MNR is failing in it's duties across the province. This article is from the the North Bay Nugget. The dam in question controls the water levels in the watershed a my moose/deer/fish camp in the Port Loring area. Although it has been a drier than normal season and water levels are below average, regular maintenance on these structures have been limited. :?
