The Blacksmith - Sam Scott

Not long ago the blacksmith strived
With the rustic tools of his station
His task was hard, though he survived
And helped to build a nation
In the countless horses that he shod
In his toil from dawn to dusk
He repaired the plows that turned the sod
I recall the blacksmith as we did entrust
Endless of our needs to his master handiwork.

Sam Scott's Blacksmith shop was located where
LCBO building now is.

I 'll have to talk to some old-timers about him! Thank-you Harry
